If you are new to Linux look into Manjaro (that way you can use the archwiki too which is a great resource), it is very user friendly distro. Here is a comprehensive guide for setting it up on an arch based system, but choose a guide for the distro you'd like to run. It does take some effort to set it up, and you need the hardware capabilities (VTd & VTx for Intel processors and IOMMU or similar for the motherboard, most newer AMD and Xeon processors got that, as for GPU it can be achieved with both AMD and Nvidia cars although it is a bit more steps with Nvidia cards), but once it is set up properly you'll have it running with no issues at all. I suggest looking into running it in a windows VM with GPU passthrough.
